Project Management
Overview
We recently attended a workshop with designers from Google, where we worked on an experience design project through a creation process of type design sprint.
Role
The project was carried out by teams of four people, each of whom was assigned a role based on their area of expertise. I was responsible for the technical feasibility of the project, thus ensuring its technological viability.
Purpose
At Google's request, we redesigned the mailbox, aligning its concept with current social challenges and technological advances.
Technologies
We used standard collaborative work tools, such as real-time editing and kanbans. However, our main technical work focused on Figma, an advanced mockup software, where I collaborated with my partner specializing in UX design.
Process
The project focused primarily on the ideation phase, involving a series of repeated divergences and convergences following the principle of diamond diagrams. We used a variety of creative tools, including mind maps and post-it notes, to encourage active, collaborative thinking among all team members.
Key Learnings
This project was a real opportunity to work with professionals from Google, who shared their expertise and experience with us. I was able to learn a lot about the design process and the importance of user feedback in the development of a product. This experience also allowed me to develop my skills in project management and team coordination.
